Mumbai: Malaika Multi-State Co-op Credit Society Organizes Annual Get-Together for Elderly Customers

Mumbai, Feb 29: Malaika Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society organized an annual get-together of the Society’s elderly customers at St Pius High School auditorium, Mulund (West), recently. The programme began with praise and worship of Mother Mary and singing of the national anthem.
A large number of the Society’s elderly customers, residing in the central suburbs between Ghatkopar and Thane, were present at the occasion. Various games were held for them and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Fr Hubert presided over the stage programme. Speaking on the occasion, Fr Hubert urged Mangalorean Catholics to support Malaika Group in its endeavour.
Malaika Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society’s Mulund branch staff Alex Gonsalves was honoured since he will be leaving for US shortly to spend his retirement.
The Society’s customers who have deposited over Rs 10 lac were honoured on the same occasion.
Malaika Group chairman Gilbert Baptist welcomed the gathering. The Society’s CEO Marceline Baptist honoured Fr Hubert by offering a flower bouquet. Naveen Kulshekar compered the programme.
