Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Feb 22: It is learnt that the personnel of National Investigation Agency (NIA) had released both the youths they had taken into custody for questioning on Monday evening. They were told to come to the police station here again on Tuesday to continue questioning, but failed to do so.

It may be recalled that Uday Kumar and Vinay Kumar, sons of Shamughan from Aniyoor village, were summoned to the police station here by NIA officials for questioning them about the present whereabouts of Jayaprakash, their relative.

Jayaprakash is the husband of Shanmughan’s sister. Jayaprakash, whose name had emerged as one of the main accused in Malegaon blast case, had gone missing, and a reward of Rs 25,000 was announced on his head.
