Mumbai, Feb 22: Kannada play ‘Abba’ directed by award winning playwright Sa Daya (Dayanand Salian) was staged by metro-based ‘Chukki Sankula’ drama troupe as part of the cultural programme of Kannada Kala Kendra at Mysore Association auditorium on Monday February 20.

Karunakar Shetty, Gopal Trasi, Sanvi J Rai, Priya Saroja Devi, Jyoti Devadiga, Jagdish D Rai, Navin D Rai, Navin Innabalike, Deepika Bhat, Bhaskar Sarapady, Sujata Alva, Archana Poojary, Ganesh Kumar, Bheema Rao, and Mohan Salian were the cast members in the drama.  Rakshita Nayak and group staged various dances on the occasion.

Ganesh Kumar, Nayana Dayanand, Gopal Trasi, Rashmi Satish Kumar, Rajani Shetty, Tanuja Bhat, and Shivaraj provided playback singing.

Kusuma Amin compered the programme. Sa Daya and Balachandra Rao synchronized sound and lights effects.

A large number of play enthusiasts were present on the occasion.
