Bantwal: Madrasa Students Get School Uniforms at Eid Milad Convention

Bantwal, Feb 19: An Eid Milad convention to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, a thanksgiving programme and uniform distribution programme were organized for the students of Misbahul Huda Madrasa and other madrasas in the vicinity by Hamzathul Karrar Jumma Masjid Kaniyoor Kanyana (HKJMKK) a the mosque premises on Wednesday February 15.

V K Abdul Khader Haji inaugurated the programme. Janab Usman Haji, chairman of district Wakf Board presided, and said that as many as 300 school children have been given school uniforms and other dresses, an act keeping with the ideals of Prophet Mohammed. He added that students belonging to all religions are benefiting from this initiative.
 
On the occasion, Rahim Uchil, president, Beary Sahitya Academy, was congratulated by Abdul Razak Maulana, Malaysia. Al Haj D F Yusuf and Hyder Parthipady distributed the prizes. Abbas Haji distributed the dresses and uniforms. Al Haj A K Abdul Hakeem Madani, K K Abdul Faizi, Nooruddin, N Shivaram Bhat, Joel V Monteiro, A K Jamal, Moosabba, and K K Mohiuddin K P Ibrahim were the chief guests.

Haji K K Sulaiman Faizi, president, HKJMKK, delivered the keynote address. T H Sharif Darimi, Khatheeb of HKJMKK, welcomed.
