Dubai: Condolence Meet in Memory of Dr V S Acharya on Feb 19

Dubai, Feb 17: A condolence meeting has been arranged by Nama Tuluveru to pay tributes to Dr V S Acharya, at Winny's Restaurant, Karama, Dubai on Sunday February 19 at 7.30 pm.

Leaders, members and Kannadigas of various Karnataka communities in UAE are requested to attend this condolence meet to express their grief and sorrow on Dr Acharya's demise.

Higher education minister Dr V S Acharya passed away on Tuesday February 14 due to heart attacked while attending a programme here. He was 71.

Dr V S Acharya was given a tearful farewell on Tuesday February 14 night at the Rajatadri district complex in Manipal, amidst a galaxy of leaders, politicians, well-wishers and thousands of people who had gathered from across the region.
