Bangalore, Feb 2 (Deccan Chronicle): Independent MLA B. Sriramulu expects the BJP government in the state to fall before it can complete its full term.
“Things are not going right in BJP. Party state chief K.S. Eshwarappa and former CM Yeddyurappa do not see eye to eye. There are differences between the Sangh Parivar and Yeddyurappa too. This government is not likely to stay in power for long. We plan to start our political campaign immediately,’’ he said.
However, the former health minister was elusive when asked about his association with any party. “All parties are in touch with me. Once the work of launching our party is over, we will make our decision clear,’’ he said, adding that he has decided to launch his political outfit—BSR Congress— in the first week of March.
Sriramulu also plans to open his offices in Bengaluru and Bellary simultaneously in March. “The process of securing the permission of the election commission for my party name and symbol is in progress. Our offices will be hi-tech, with all facilities. We will have a video conferencing facility between party offices,’’ he said. The Valmiki community leader will launch a campaign in five districts of North Karnataka which have a substantial backward class population.
