Mangalore, Jan 31: St Agnes Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research Library in association with Karnataka State College Librarians’ Association ®, Bangalore, for the first time in Karnataka among academic institutions, has announced that, the 57th Annual conference of Indian Library Association –Delhi will be hosted on the theme-Knowledge Society: Innovations in Librarianship” at St.Agnes College premises from February 23 to 25.
Papers have been invited on various issues. Prof Bharath Mehra, department of Library and Infn. Sci.,University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA will deliver the keynote address and Dr A. Keshavaraj, senior principle scientist with Air Products, at Allentown, USA will share his expertise with library professionals.
Recently the Brochure has been released by Shashidhar, Commissioner, Dept of Collegiate Education, Bangalore, Dr.Kamalamma V, Director of Dept.of Collegiate Education, Dr Vishala B.K. organizing secretary of ILA, Kadadevara Math, president and S M Dheeraj, vice president of KSCLA, were present at Bangalore.
