Puttur: Minister Shobha Karandlaje’s Father No More

Puttur, Jan 30: Monappa Gowda (71), father of state energy minister, Shobha Karandlaje, breathed his last on Sunday January 29 night at his residence in Karandlaje, Charvaka village in the taluk.

He had been suffering from certain ailments since some time. His death came at around 9.30 pm.

He is survived by wife, three daughters including Shobha, and a son. His funeral is slated to be conducted today.
