Bhatkal, Jan 27: Late on Thursday January 26 at around 11.30 pm, a miscreant hurled a glass bottle onto passing cars thereby injuring three persons including a young lady.
The young lady identified as Sultana (20), who was sitting in the back seat was taken to the Bhatkal government hospital and was later shifted to Mangalore. Sultana has been injured in the eye. The other two persons have been identified as Naufil Damudi (22) and Nuaida.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Naufil Damudi said that they were on their way to their house in Sagar Road from Azad Nagar. They were totally five of them in the car. As they were driving, a boy in a Splender motorcycle hurled the glass bottled at them. The rearview mirror of the car has been broken.
Recently, the same incident had taken place here but fortunately there have been no injuries. After collecting information from locals, CPI Shivprakash and PSI Prakash Devadigar went to the hospital to start investigations.
A case has been registered.
