Mangalore: Coast Guard Personnel Rescue Stranded Boat, Crew

Mangalore, Jan 26: The Coast Guard personnel on Wednesday January 25 rescued the crew of 'Sea Prince', a boat which was stranded about 50 nautical miles off the port here due to technical problems.

The boat was loaded with essential commodities. The Coast Guard personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the crew and the boat.

The boat, owned by Aslam from Kotepura, Ullal near here, had left from the dock at the old port here on Monday.

Capt Arun Kumar of Coast Guard said that all the nine crew and the boat were brought back safely, and that the rescued boat has been anchored at sea off the old port.
