Doha, Jan 20: 'Soad-3 International' is a concept developed by two premier organizations that have contributed to the growth and nurturing of Konkani language and culture over the last two decades. Mandd Sobhann needs no introduction for it has almost single-handedly led the revival of Konkani in a unique way in Mangalore and world over. Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) has been in the forefront of promoting Konkani in Qatar eversince its inception in 1992.
Both MCC and Mandd Sobhann have not only promoted Konkani but have also been instrumental in recognizing talents and promoting them. It was with this mutual motto of recognizing talents and promoting Konkani that Mandd Sobhann's Soad concept was launched at the international-level with the cooperation of MCC.
After the successful completion of preliminary rounds in Mangalore and Goa, Soad-3 International entered Qatar and instantly got rousing support from the participants.
