Mangaluru, Apr 27: Holy Family Church, Omzoor bids farewell to Pope Francis, expressing gratitude for his service and leadership.

It began with a procession by offering candles as a sign of respect by the vice president of parish council Arther D’Souza, Dafney Lewis secretary of parish council, and Elroy Saldanha Church commission coordinator.

Sr Luciana superior of St Charles Boromeo Convent, Gurkars of 18 wards, presidents of various associations followed by parish priest Fr William Menezes offering a garland followed by the holy Eucharistic celebration celebrated by parish priest and co celebrated by Fr David pinto.

Parish priest in his homily reflected on Pope Francis's commitment to interfaith dialogue and his concern for the poor.
