Bengaluru, Apr 5: A young man from Bengaluru, frustrated over being unemployed for the past three years, has grabbed social media attention with a unique and emotional post he shared on LinkedIn, a platform typically used for professional networking.
The youth, identified as Prashanth Haridas, shared what resembled his own obituary, narrating the mental and emotional turmoil he has endured during his prolonged job search.

In his viral post, Prashanth wrote, "Thank you, LinkedIn. Thank you, employers. Thank you for ignoring my applications. Thank you for wasting my time and money while I was trying to find a job. I know very well that no one will hire me after this post. RIP."
Despite the post’s somber tone, Prashanth made it clear that he was not contemplating suicide. He clarified that he was ‘dead only in terms of employment’ and added, “I love life, and I am not going to end it.”
The heartfelt message has sparked widespread reactions from LinkedIn users, many expressing empathy, support, and encouragement for Prashanth, while others have shared similar struggles in the competitive job market.
