Abu Dhabi, Jan 16 : India Social and Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi (ISC), the largest Socio-Cultural organization for the Indian community in the capital and Gemini Building Materials (GBM) being one of the major Organizations in the Middle East joins together to host the “India Festival 2012” at ISC on 2nd, 3rd and 4th February 2012.
India Social and Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi is the largest recreational Centre in the Middle East for the Indian community and enjoys an atmosphere of harmony and goodwill.
This premier socio-cultural organization was established in the year 1967. Social services, Cultural activities and Sports have been an incessant achievements throughout the 45 years of its existence by associating the cultural diversities and traditions of UAE and India, being the main objective. The Centre by its own pride and dignity, has always been recognized as a unique platform for all highly reputed Corporate, where in the benefits rewarded are mutually.
Ramesh V. Panicker, the President of ISC announced the launching of the “India Festival 2012”.
The President further emphasized that “Indiafest” first held in ISC in February 2011, was a unique experience for the Community. The event turned historical with over 25,000 people flocked to ISC thoroughly enjoying this spectacular event. We are pleased to announce that arrangements are progressing very well to hold the mega event. The event loaded with lot fun, frolic, food, cultural, entertainment activities shall be executed in coordination with the support of Indian Mission, ISC Members, Well Wishers, Corporate Houses and Regional Associations.
The event, running for three consecutive days, shall be a rare opportunity for the community members and public to have a glimpse of the cultural genesis of our Home Land and its most cherished Folklores and Delicacies.
The highlight of the event this time, Government of India is joining with ISC in making India Fest an enchanting experience of Cultural extravagance for the Community. The Cultural Wing of Indian Embassy, through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi is presenting a cultural show by three reputed cultural troupes from India, The Indian Cultural Troupes will be performing all three days in the festival venue. Also Dance/ Cultural Troupes from other countries like Sri Lanka, Indonesia etc. shall also be participating in the event with their traditional Folklores.
