Ukkinadka, Feb 19: February 19 was a momentous day for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Ukkinadka, as it celebrated its 85th annual feast. Fr Stany Pereira, dean of Kasargod Deanery and parish priest of Bela, graced the occasion as the main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist.

The festive Mass was concelebrated by numerous priests from the deanery and various religious congregations, including Pallottine, Norbertine, Dominican, and Salesian priests. Fr Sunil Miranda, the parish priest, warmly welcomed the gathering.

The liturgy was beautifully coordinated, with the altar servers performing their duties with reverence and precision, adding to the solemnity and splendor of the celebration. A large and devout congregation attended the Mass, which was elevated by the melodious choir.

The ICYM organized festive stalls, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. To culminate the celebration, a festival meal was served for the priests and guests.

The 85th annual feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Ukkinadka, was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and spiritual renewal among the faithful.
