Panaji: Briton Found Dead in Goa Room

Panaji, Jan 3 (IANS): A British national was found dead in mysterious circumstances in his rented room in a Goa village, police said Tuesday.

John David Tagg, who was living with a friend from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Siolim, a sleepy coastal village 30 km from here, was found dead Monday. He appeared to have died in his sleep and was found by locals, a police official said.

"There had come to Goa on the year-end," the official said, adding that the premises had been sealed.

"The post mortem of the deceased will make the cause of death clear," police said.
