Kasargod: Police arrest fugitive accused in attempted murder case after 4 years

Kasargod, Dec 12: Manjeshwar police have arrested a man who had been on the run after escaping from police custody.

The arrested individual, Adam (40), from Uppala Kaikamba, was accused of attempting to murder Mustafa in 2018.

He was arrested in 2020 in connection with the case, but during the Covid-19 lockdown, he was placed in a quarantine facility. During this time, he managed to escape and went into hiding.

Adam had been evading arrest in states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. He is also involved in several other criminal cases, including attempted murder and drug trafficking.
