Abu Dhabi: UAE Hosts Meet on Somali Aid

Abu Dhabi, Dec 19 (IANS/WAM): The UAE has hosted here an international meet on the humanitarian crisis in Somalia, the organisers said Monday.

Foreign ministry officials, members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of the UN agencies attended.

Experts gave presentations on the social and economic situation in Somalia and discussed ways to tackle them on a war footing.
