Mangaluru: Suratkal youth conquers Ma Choy mountain in Ladakh

Mangaluru, Dec 5: Suhan Sudhakar, a resident of Suratkal in the city, successfully scaled the Ma Choy mountain located in the Drass region of Ladakh in the Himalayas.

Suhan, the founder of Bowline Sports and Adventure in Moodigere, climbed the 16,863-foot-high Ma Choy mountain, which lies between the Amarnath Cave and Zojila Pass.

Known for its low oxygen levels, the mountain is considered both dangerous and highly challenging for mountaineers.

Among a team of 42 mountaineers attempting the climb, Suhan was the only participant from Karnataka.
