Not from Tamilnadu as the freebies there were somewhat different. I think from kejeriwaal. His freebies were electrcity bills & water Bills. I feel that it will be freebies galore throughout India. In maharashtra BJP came back to power through Ladki bahin freebie scheme. Rahul Ghandhi has promised Rs 1 Lakh per yer for each household that effectively comes to 8500 per month. I am bachelor nearing retirement age. I hope he gives as promised so that i need not do some extra work after retirement.

The guarantee schemes were introduced decades back by jayalalitha and DMK in form of gifts. Kejriwal and the grand party followed suit to win votes, in cash. Now almost all parties offer something to lure the voters. Nothing is new.
