Udupi: Quiz competition on Indian Constitution held at SMS PU College

Udupi, Nov 28: As part of the Constitution Day celebrations, SMS PU College, Brahmavar in association with the commission for justice and peace, organized an inter-school quiz competition on the Indian Constitution.

Ivan Donath Suvares, principal of SMS PU College, in his presidential note, said, "The Indian Constitution is one of the finest in the world, fostering justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for the betterment of all," remarked Ivan Donat Suvares, principal of SMS PU College.

The event was graced by the presence of senior teacher Juliet Jacintha Lewis, programme coordinators and sociology lecturer Vijay Alva and political science lecturer Edward Larson D’Souza.

Santosh Neelavar, lecturer of computer science was the quizmaster. Kannada lecturer Prasanna Adiga welcomed the gathering and delivered the vote of thanks.

The competition concluded with Prithvin and Aditi from SMS CBSE School, Brahmavar, securing the first place, followed by Vignesh and Ashwij from KPS Kokkarne in second place, and Mohammed Ayaan and Kaushik from SMS English Medium High School State Syllabus, Brahmavar, taking third place. Consolation prizes were awarded to Reshma from SMS Kannada Medium High School and Sumanth and Prajwal from Milagres High School, Kallyanpur.

The programme witnessed active participation from the institution's staff and students.
