Mangaluru: Padua English Higher Primary School celebrates Parents Day

Mangaluru, Nov 28: On the occasion of the silver jubilee of Padua English Higher Primary School Nantoor, Parents Day was celebrated on November 24 at the Padua auditorium.

The event was presided over by Fr Walter D'Souza, the correspondent of Padua Educational Institutions. The chief guest Tejpal Suvarna Bolar, Fr Arun Lobo the campus director, Molly D'Souza the headmistress, SPL Luke D'Souza and ASPL Ashwitha were present on the stage.

The formal programme began with a prayer song. The headmistress Molly D'Souza welcomed the gathering, Fr Walter D'Souza in his presidential address emphasized that both home and school play a very important role in a child's life. The chief guest Tejpal Suvarna noted that the school charges minimum fees while providing quality education to the students.

Fr Arun Lobo, the campus director appreciated the parents' support in the development of the institution. Soumya and Dr Rajesh Kadri the parents of the school praised the efforts made by the Headmistress and the staff for the fame of the institution.

Jerald Concesso was honored for his voluntary service to the institution.

Various cultural programmes were presented by the parents, teachers and the students to make the audience thrilled. Lucky games were conducted by the teachers. Amisha Pinto anchored the programme.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Irine D’Souza. The parents thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the programme organized by the school.
