Sullia: Wild elephants destroy farm

Sullia, Oct 21: Two wild elephants entered a farm in Karyatodi near here, causing significant damage to the crops.

The elephants entered farmland owned by Devaragunda D S Girish, uprooting 30 arecanut trees, several plantain trees, and other fruit trees.

They also destroyed plantain and arecanut trees belonging to Jayanti Somappa D S, a nearby resident.
