Kasargod: Udaya Higher Secondary School holds vibrant Kalolsavam 2024

Kasargod, Oct 19: Udaya Higher Secondary School celebrated its annual Kalolsavam on October 19, showcasing the extraordinary talents of its students through a series of cultural competitions. The event was graced by principal Jerald Ivan Crasta and featured saxophonist Shivani B S as the chief guest.

In her inspiring address, Shivani emphasized the importance of seizing every opportunity for personal growth, stating, “Students must use all the opportunities available to them so that their talents can flourish.” The highlight of her visit was a mesmerizing musical performance on the saxophone, which captivated the audience.

The event was skilfully managed by MCs Aboocker Sufiyan and Mohammed Shazin, with Niharika delivering a warm welcome and Mohammed Mazin providing the vote of thanks.

Students showcased their talents across various categories, including group dance, nadanpattu, solo dance, katha prasangam, group song, light music, oppana, vattapattu, monoact, patriotic song, mimicry, vanchipattu, thiruvathira, classical music, ghazal-Urdu, and an English skit. Each performance reflected the hard work and creativity of the students, making the event a resounding success.

The Kalolsavam not only highlighted the artistic abilities of the students but also fostered a sense of community and school spirit. With such a rich display of talent, Udaya Higher Secondary School continues to encourage and nurture the potential of its students.
