Udupi, Oct 2: A series of accidents occurred on the service road near Katapady Junction on National Highway 66 on Wednesday night (Oct 2), after a car lost control and collided with several vehicles.

A Tata Punch electric car, coming from Udupi, went over a speed bump on the service road. The driver's reckless driving caused the car to collide with a passing auto-rickshaw, then a bus, an Omni, and two parked two-wheelers near a shop, resulting in damage to all vehicles.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this busy area. Only vehicles were damaged in the accident.

Kaup police station ASI Dayanand and other officers visited the spot to conduct an inspection.
