Mumbai, Sep 15: The Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IBCCI) organised the Knowledge Summit 2024, a remarkable event focused on learning, inspiring, and motivating the Bunts community. Held on Saturday, September 14, at Radhabhai T Bhandary Auditorium, Buntara Bhavana, Kurla East, Mumbai, the summit brought together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and business professionals to share insights and experiences that drive success.
IBCCI president Kuthpadi Chandra Shetty (K C Shetty) presided over the event. Bunts Sangha Mumbai president Pravin Bhoja Shetty inaugurated the summit, while R K Shetty Kanyana, managing director of Heramba Group of Companies, attended as the chief guest.
The Knowledge Summit 2024 was sponsored by Heramba Group of Companies, with co-sponsors including Canara Travels Pvt Ltd, Rupee Boss, and Aura Shine Essentials. The event received support from Bunts Sangha Mumbai, Bombay Bunts Association, AHAR (Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association), and the Association of Bunts Chartered Accountants (ABCA).

IBCCI vice-president S B Shetty, honorary secretary Srinath Shetty, treasurer Prasad P Shetty, joint secretary Srinivas Shetty, joint treasurer Nishit Shetty, directors Anil Shetty Elinje, Balakrishna Shetty, Jay Sooda, Pradeep S Shetty, and IBCCI advisor CA Shankar B Shetty, along with youth wing convener Jeekshith Kusumodara Shetty and president Alok Shetty, were also present.
The summit, themed 'Inspiration and Growth,' featured notable speakers such as nationally renowned lecturer Mansi Lal Sawant, who spoke on the secrets of wealth and fame through business imaging, and Pragya Shravan Shetty, managing director of Refractory Shaper Limited, who discussed the company’s successful journey from foundation to listing. Muralidhara Rao, joint director of Ace Designers Bangalore Limited, shared his insights on the pursuit of excellence.
Pravin B Shetty emphasised the importance of such summits in enhancing the status of entrepreneurs within the Bunts community. He highlighted the value of sharing ideas and addressing common challenges, which helps members strengthen their position in the rapidly changing global business environment. The summit, he noted, provides a crucial platform for networking, friendship, and business development.
Mansi Lal Sawant explained that business imaging is about seizing opportunities through the impressions we create, which ultimately improves business ethics. Pragya Shetty shared that entrepreneurship is born from hope and perseverance, stating that while money creates value, behavior builds prestige.
Muralidhara Rao spoke about the key qualities for success, such as determination, discipline, motivation, and positive thinking. He stressed that while technology can be copied, culture cannot, and adhering to principles is essential for long-term success.
K C Shetty lauded the Bunts community for being job creators and highlighted the role of IBCCI in encouraging entrepreneurship and fostering unity within the community. He reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the organization and supporting the dreams of its founders, S M Shetty and B D Shetty.
A large number of senior and junior business professionals and young entrepreneurs from the Bunts community attended the summit. K C Shetty welcomed and honoured the guests, sponsors, and dignitaries, including senior businessmen Diwakar S Shetty (Fiber Foiles), Jayaram N Shetty, Lata J Shetty (Regency), and Sadashiva Shetty (Adorit).
In his introductory remarks, Srinath Shetty outlined IBCCI's achievements and future plans, while Raksha Shetty introduced the guests and resource persons. Srinivas Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
