Mangalore: Nagabrahma Yuvaka Mandala's 'Keserda Gobbu' Thrills Sports Enthusiasts

Mangalore, Nov 21: Nagabramha Yuvaka Mandala, Paduperar held its First Keserda Gobbu village sports competition in paddy field here at Paduperar Brahma Baldy Temple near Bajpe on Sunday November 20.
Sri M N P Shivaprakash Swamiji of Jangama Mutt Gurupura and Sri Balakrishna Shetty Alake Guttu were the guests for the event.
The competitions included kabaddi for men, tug of war for both men and women, and race. Games for women were held in the morning and men's competitions were held in the afternoon, following which winners were declared.
The valedictory session began at 6.00 pm, where in Sri Rjashekarananda Swamiji of Sri Kshethra Vajradehi Gurupur, Sri Vardhamana Durgaprasad Shetty of Golidadi Guttu Gurupura, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Zilla Panchayath member Janardhana Gowda and Balakrishna Shetty Alake Guttu took part.
The event was organized by president of Sri Nagabramha Yuvaka Mandala, Paduperar Venkappa Sapaliga, Purushothama Paduperar, Sunil Kumar Paduperar, and Prabhakar Varakala in association with Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Grameena Yojana Members.
Minister of Ports Krishna J Palemar, president of Paduperar Panchayath Rafayil, Gangadhar Rai of Mundabettu Guttu and Prathamchandra Shetty of Branabettu Guttu among others were present.
