Mangaluru: Car Street Govt First Grade College organizes investor awareness programme

Mangaluru, Aug 30: Investor Awareness Programme was held in the college for students of Dayananda Pai – P Sathisha Pai Government First Grade College at Car Street on August 30.

It was the initiative of IQAC of the college in collaboration with commerce association. 

A prelude to IAP was given by Louis Manoj, convenor of commerce association.

The day had two sessions:

Session 1: Financial Literacy by Naveen Rego, a SEBI registered investment advisor from Mangaluru 

Session 2: Back to Basics by Leo Amal A, senior branch manager, Franklin Templeton India Private Ltd Mangaluru 

Pooja of I BCom AEDP batch introduced Naveen Rego and Jayalakshmi of I BCom AEDP batch introduced Leo Amal A.

Soumya and Nagaraj faculty members from commerce department were present during the session.

In all, 200 I BCom AEDP batch, II Bcom B batch and II BA Students and teachers benefited out of this resourceful programme.
