Mangaluru: ‘Nav – Rang’ Eddie Sequeira book to be released on Aug 31

Mangaluru, Aug 28: Eddie Sequeira, a senior artiste, award winning Konkani playwright, actor, director and compere will be releasing his book ‘Nav-Rang’, a collection of his well-known plays and captivating talks on Konkani dramas which have enthralled audiences over the years, on August 31 at 6 pm at St Aloysius College, Sahodhaya hall.

Dr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor, St Aloysius (deemed to be university) will release the book, in the presence of guests Stephen Pinto, advisor Michael D’Souza trust, and H M Pernal, editor, Kittall.com.

The book is published by St Aloysius Prakashan headed by Prof Dr Vidya Vinuta D’Souza with the grant from Michael D’Souza vision Konkani programme under the aegis of World Konkani Centre, Mangaluru.

On this occasion Eddie will be presenting his book with an insight into his journey as an actor and playwright, and will be acting/reading excerpts of some of the scenes from the plays in the book. Zeena D’Souza a gifted stage actor will be joining him on stage.

The book is priced at Rs 200 with an early bird discount for purchases made at the venue.
