Dr Veerendra Heggade Chosen for National Jindal Award

New Delhi, Nov 15: Reliable sources said that Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade’s name has been finalized for the prestigious Jindal Award. Seetaram Jindal Foundation, which has instituted the award, is expected to make a formal announcement about its decision to confer this award on Dr Heggade shortly.
Dr Heggade gets this national honour for encouraging the system of healing without the use of medicines through naturopathy, and affective implementation of this plan.
The foundation has finalized names for awards under rural development, science, peace and harmony, medicine-less treatment, and education. The awards function will be organized at New Delhi on a date expected to be announced soon.
Dr Heggade has excelled in religious, social, education, and social service sectors through his distinguished leadership and guidance par excellence. He has already bagged the state award from Karnataka government this year. He is a recipient of various awards, and Rural Development and Self Employment Training (RUDSET) has got nationwide recognition for its success in providing employment to rural youth.
Shantivana Trust, a registered organization set up under the presidentship of Dr Heggade, has been rendering yeomen services in the field of providing relief to scores of people suffering from various ailments and other symptoms like obesity, diabetes etc by enabling them to lead a normal life with the help of naturopathy.
