Udupi, Aug 12: Association of Consulting Civil Engineers and Architects (ACCEA) Udupi, released its silver jubilee logo at Ocean Pearl Hotel auditorium, Kadiyali, and launched service activities on August 10.
Mithun IPS, superintendent of coast guard police, inaugurated the occasion by lighting the lamp and launching the logo. He said, “The role of engineer is important in the development of Udupi city. If the building is designed beautifully along with a secure foundation, it will last for a long time.” He wished for the growth of the organization.
Yogish Chandradhara, president association of consulting civil engineer and architect, in his introductory note stated about the 25 various social works organized by the association on the occasion of 25 the year anniversary and asked the members for the cooperation for its success.
The engineers who helped in the establishment of the association were honoured on the occasion.
On the occasion of 25th anniversary, a blood donation camp was held in association with Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
Dr Deepika Chenna, chief guest said, “It is important to protect others' lives along with ourselves. By donating blood, we can stay healthy.” She stated the importance of blood donation.
Nagesh Hegde, honorary president expressed his appreciation for organizing the camp along with social service in the field of engineering. Panduranga Langavantar, Hemanth Kumar, blood donors shared their thoughts on the occasion.
President Yogesh Chandradhara welcomed the gathering. Secretary Mahesh Kamath proposed the vote of thanks. Treasurer Amith Aravind mastered the ceremony.
