Doha : MCC Annual Ladies Open Throw Ball Tourney on Oct 27, 28

Doha, Oct 27: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Qatar  will hold its ever popular 10th Annual MCC Ladies Open Throwball Tournament during this weekend  27th and 28th October 2011 at the old Ideal Indian School Grounds (Girls Wing), neae Midmac Roundabout, Salwa Road.

This year 5 teams, namely,  Tulu Koota,  Karavali, Karnataka Sangha, Al Maha Club and host team MCC will be vying for the prestigious MCC Trophy. The tournament will begin with an opening ceremony on Thursday 28th October at 6.30 pm and matches will start at 6.45 pm.  On  Friday,  29th October the matches will begin in the  morning at 9.00 am and afternoon session starts at 3.00 pm. After the league matches, the official stage function will start around 6.30 pm followed by the final match and the prize distribution ceremony.
 
The Throwball Tournament in the past has not just provided an avenue for ladies to exhibit their sporting skills, it has also been an opportunity for the spectators to join in the fun and spirit of the game. MCC invites all sports lovers in Qatar to attend this tournament in large numbers and cheer  the teams and boost their game.
