Bangalore: Yeddyurappa to Spend Diwali in Jail as Court Defers Bail Plea

Bangalore, Oct 24: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will be spending Diwali behind bars, after the high court on Monday October 24 deferred his bail plea to Friday October 28.

The bail plea was deferred by three days as the court goes on a three-day holiday starting starting Tuesday October 25.

Moreover, Yeddyurappa's lawyer Jayakumar Patil withdrew his client's interim bail plea which had been filed for three days so that Yeddyurappa could spend his Diwali at home with family.

On October 28, the court will hear the former CM's regular bail plea.

The Lokayukta court had earlier extended his judicial custody till November 3.

Yeddyurappa was arrested on October 15 on charges of corruption on two cases. He was shifted to Jayadeva hospital soon after and then to Victoria hospital, before he was shifted back to jail.

    As a Ex CM of Karnataka, I wish Mr. Yeddy will celebrate his Diwali with his family members in spite of my own reservation and bitterness of his misuse, abuse of power.

    In this Kaleeyuaga, what one sou, one will reap the same, in his/her own life time. Not in the next life.

    Even Gadkaari deny to comment on Yeddy. Meaning he believes yeddy might be corrupt. This is the same image what every north Indian has towards south Indian.

    On other hand south Indian scarify his life to prove his fellow is clean though he is most corrupt.

Yeddy sometime jail life and food is better at old age which secure,cholestrol free food, sleeping on floor reduces back pain, no political tension to break private properties you lucky Yeddy.     DVS must take steps to impliment the 2nd stage of NAMMA METRO with a line from VIDHANA SOUDHA TO PARAPPANA AGRAHARA with two stops at jaidev hospital and victoria hospital. All BJP LED BHARATIYA JAIL PARTY ministres can easily travel without ambulance , trolley and escape from media eye sight.

    Eddi in Jail for Diwali is good for Advani's safety while he is visiting him on his Rath yatra.He can visit him personally without media and without the non-eddy fractions.They can have a very private conversation which indeed not possible if he is on Bail.
