Mangalore: AJ Hospital and Research Centre Celebrates 10 Fruitful Years

Mangalore, Oct 19: The 10th annual day celebration of AJ Hospital and Research Centre was organized in a grand manner at the college auditorium on Tuesday October 18.
The chief guest district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar said that reputed private institutions should extend their service to rural places.
"AJ Hospital and Research Centre has a place of pride in the city," Palemar said, adding that the hospital has 550 beds reserved for poor patients, which is noble indeed. He also praised AJ Shetty for his service towards the society and the needy in particular.
Sri Keshavananda Bharathi Swamiji of Edneer Mutt inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. AJ Shetty presiding over the programme distributed prizes to outstanding staff members.
Dr Shantharam Shetty of Nitte University, Ramesh Pai, dean, AJ Medical Science College, among others were present.
Medical Director Prashanth Marla delivered the keynote address. Dr B V Manjunath proposed the vote of thanks.
