Mangaluru, May 21: Dr Nareshchand Hegde, renowned heart specialist and independent candidate for Karnataka legislative council polls from the prestigious southwest teacher's constituency, visited Kuttar Koragajja Kshetra, Sri Panjandaya Bunta Vaidyanatha Munnur Kshethra on the morning of Tuesday. Renowned actor Sharan couple accompanied.
Preetam Shetty, chief trustee, Sriram Rai, trustee, Harish BhandaraBailu, Balakrishna Moolya, Mahila Anna (Daiva Pathri) and Lohith were present.
Dr Nareshchand Hegde hopes to bring make a positive difference in the southwest teacher's constituency which has seen politicians without degrees elected, leaving serious educational issues unresolved. Dr Hegde aspires to cater to the expectations of the educated voters who are seeking an able leader from their ranks.
