Bengaluru, May 9: Nobody is preventing JDS leader H D Kumaraswamy from fighting over the pen drive sex scandal involving his nephew and Hassan JDS MP Prajwal Revanna, said Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Thursday.
Speaking to media persons near his residence in Bengaluru, he said Kumaraswamy is free to wage any kind of fight as he is a prominent leader and former chief minister.
Responding to Kumaraswamy’s statement after meeting Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot in Raj Bhavan seeking a CBI probe into the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal, Shivakumar said: “Let him do what he wants. Nobody is preventing him.”
“I will respond in detail after returning from campaigning in Andhra Pradesh in favour of the Congress party,” he said.
Shivakumar said he has nothing further to add to what the Vokkaliga Community ministers N Cheluvarayaswamy and Krishna Byre Gowda on unnecessarily dragging the name of Deputy Chief Minister and tarnishing the image of Vokkaliga community. “They have said what they feel. I have already explained my stand,” he said.
He, however, declared that he will come out with all details during the ensuing session of the State Legislature.
