Though the days continue to be hot, the early mornings and evenings are crisp and cool with a pleasant nip in the air. As the sun begins to rise, the dew settled delicately on leaves and grass begin to sparkle. The misty air has a charm of its own.
The misty weather over the past few days in early mornings across Dakshina Kannada district forecasts the end of monsoon season and the impending arrival of winter.
The peasants are making preparations to harvest paddy and plant second crop.
Mother Earth draped in a thick mist is rejuvenated as the temperature steadily rises during the day and evenings are pleasant due to the cool breeze from the Arabian Sea.
