Moodbidri, Oct 5: SKF Group chairman G Ramakrishna announced the ‘SKF Annual Awards’ for M K Murthy of Raichur and Professor Krishnamurthy of Bangalore; senior achievers in education and agricultural related industry, during a press meet held here on Tuesday October 4.
The Award comprises of a gold plaque and cash. SKF Industrial Training Institute counselor B A Acharya was present at the press meet.
Professor Krishnamurthy:
She has done her M A in Hindi literature from Mysore University and is the founder secretary of Gayatri Educational Society that was established in 1975 and Anupama Institutions in Bangalore. She is the recipient of ‘Shikshana Ratna’ and ‘Rani Abbakka Award’ for her extraordinary contributions in the field of education and social service. She is the vice-president of the All India Vishwakarma Mahila Sabha and president of Akhila Bharathiya Vishwakarma Parishat. She is the director of Bharathiya Grameen Mahila Sangh, home for orphans and destitute, in Bangalore.
M K Murthy:
Sixty-year-old M K Murthy is the chairman of Raichur Academy for Creative Education (RACE), and trustee of KSH Foundation Trust, director of KSH Agro Foods Bangalore Private Limited, Raichur, and KSH Agro Foods Private Limited, president of Arya Vysya Nagareshwar Temple, Raichur, and Kanika Parameshwari DED College, Raichur, vice-president of Swamy Vivekanand Holistic Health Care Centre, Raichur, executive member of Vasavi Credit Co-operative Bank, Raichur, and executive member of Raichur District Rice Millers Association.
