Easter celebration: Konkan Association Charitable Trust holds musical evening

Mumbai, Apr 1: The Konkan Association Charitable Trust Mumbai organised for the aid of Snehalaya Charitable Trust Manjeshwar, a Konkani Music evening as 'Konkani Dabajo' on the occasion of Easter Sunday evening at Vincent Pallotti Chruch ground in Marol, Andheri East. The programme the started with blessing by Fr Samuel.

Fr Samuel, businessmen Prem Vas, Joe Lobo, James Lobo, and Paul Mascarenhas, Divo Weekly editor Lawrence Coello, former president of the association Benedicta B Rebello, president Walter D'Souza Jerimari, and secretary Vincent Castellino were presemt on the dais. 

Jagruti Kendra Jerimeri's Sr Seema, Clement A Lobo, director of Model Bank, Joseph Crasta founder of Snehalaya Charitable Trust (Manjeshwar) Mangaluru honoured and congratulated them and greeted all the artistes.

Office bearers of Konkan Association, executive committee members felicitated the guests with floral tributes. Cyril Castelino compered the programme. Executive president Leo Fernandes Jerimari welcomed and delivered vote of thanks.

The musical genius of Mumbai, Anthony Tauro, Bleny D'Souza, Veronica D'Souza, Manuel P Fernandes, Lewin Fernandes, Adrea Soares, Preetham Machado, Dr Roshni Crasta, Angelina D'Souza, Dr Arun Crasta and other singers gave a musical treat with Konkani songs. The Expressions comedy trio of Alwyn Andrade, Stephen Lewis and Sujatha Andrade presented comedy farce, light satire and dance routines. Avinash Ullooru gave the music.
