Udupi, Mar 21: Dr P Suba Sooria, head of Nursing Services at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing the prestigious ICN Leadership for Change (LFC) Programme and ICN LFC Trainings of Trainers Programme, offered by The International Council of Nurses (ICN) and The Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
The ICN LFC programme, established in 1995, is designed to equip nurses with essential leadership skills necessary for implementing organizational change to enhance nursing practice and achieve better health outcomes. As a global leader in nursing representation, the ICN's mission is to advocate for health policies that support the nursing profession worldwide and promote the well-being of nurses.
The certificate was presented jointly by Dr Anand Venugopal, chief operating officer of Teaching Hospitals, MAHE, Manipal, and Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. Sachin Karanth, Head of Marketing, and Suresh Shenoy, Head of Human Resources were present.
