Stroke Rehabilitation Camp held at Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi

Udupi, Mar 21: Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, in collaboration with the Centre for Comprehensive Stroke Rehabilitation and Recovery (CCSRR), MAHE, Manipal, hosting a FREE Stroke Rehabilitation Camp on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Department of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech & Hearing will offer their services in this camp by having awareness session on stroke, interactive question & answer sessions, screening for problems associated with stroke & provide valuable personalized advice on rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy, Speech & Hearing and Occupational Therapy department services are available on a regular basis Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi on all working days.

Dr Shashikiran Umakanth, Medical Superintendent of Dr TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, emphasized the significance of this initiative, urging those affected by stroke, as well as caregivers, to make use of these services available at the camp.

Dr Arun Maiya, Dean of Manipal College of Health Professions and Dr John Solomon, Coordinator of CCSRR urged the people to make use of the allied health services which is best in this region for stroke recovery.
