Mangaluru, Mar 20: Samarth Bhat, a strong youth leader from the GSB community, was appointed as a member of the Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy. He was felicitated at Sri Navadurga Mahaganapati Temple in Mannagudda, Mangaluru.
Expectations are high for Bhat's future tasks, as he is expected to go on supporting society in his new capacity.
The event was graced by the presence of the Navadurga Temple Management Committee, which included Vishwanath Bhat, president, G Sathish Bhat, chief priest, Manjula Nayak, social worker, Arjun Bhandarkar and Bhagyashree Bhandarkar, chief trustees, Seva Life Charitable Trust, Venkatesh Bhat, Kodiyal Khabar newspaper, Vidya Shenoy, and others.
