Mangaluru, Mar 10: Sandalwood actors, including Darshan, visited Kuthar Dekkadu Koragajja Aditala and offered prayers. Darshan mentioned that giving up Mandya MP Sumalata would be akin to abandoning one's mother.

Expressing his sentiments regarding supporting Sumalatha Ambarish in Lok Sabha elections, Darshan stated, “I was with mother Sumalata until recently. How can I desert her now? Would you give up your mother in your family? Sumalata is like a mother to me.

I have visited Mangaluru several times but could not make it to Kuthar. There isn't much difference; all temples are the same. There was much talk about this holy place, so I visited and prayed. There is no particular reason for my visit.”

Comedian Chikkanna, Prashant Marla, Mahabala Shetty, Vidyacharan Shetty, Deviprasad Shetty, Preetam Shetty, and trustees of the Korgajja shrine were present.

As it was Sunday, many devotees gathered at the spot. They crowded around Darshan to take selfies. However, Darshan's bodyguards manhandled the fans, causing embarrassment among the public.
