Bantwal: Deepika high school old students hold Guruvandane programme

Bantwal, Feb 27: The students of 1984 batch of 10th grade of Modankap Deepika high school held Guruvandane programme for retired teachers, who taught them, on the occasion of completion of 40 years.

The programme was held on Saturday at the school.

Retired lecturer William M Pinto, M Mahabaleshwara Hebbar, H N Hebbar, T Babugowda, Felix J Vaz and Seetharama Bhat were felicitated.

School correspondent Fr Valerian D’Souza and head teacher Sadhu were the chief gurests.

After receiving the felicitation M T Hebbar advised students to inculcate discipline, gratitude and time management in their life along with education.

Seetharama Bhat said that the act of senior students should be a role model for others. H N Hebbar wished a bright future for the current students. Avil Lewis welcomed.

Senior student Wilfred Lewis, Venkatesh Bhat, Jeffery D’Silva and Yusuf expressed their opinion of their school time. Shivaprasad Prabhu compered the event. Ronald Boniface rendered vote of thanks.
