Mangaluru, Feb 25: Sr Dr Sadhana B S nee Alice D’Souza D M of the congregation of the sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangaluru having successfully defended her thesis titled contribution of Konkani phonemes towards the expression of emotions was awarded PhD in computer science and engineering by St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru during its 18th graduation ceremony on February 24.
The graduation certificate was awarded by Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of the diocese of Mangaluru and the president of SJEC, Dr Neeraj Saxena, pro chancellor, JIS University, Kolkata, Irol Melisa Pinto, Cloud Solution Architect manager, Microsoft, Bengaluru, Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, director of SJEC, Fr Kenneth Ryner Crasta, assistant director of SJEC, Dr Rio D'Souza, the principal, SJEC and was witnessed by the staff of SJEC, parents and well-wishers.
The entire Bethany family and very especially Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the provincial superior and the sisters of Mangaluru province rejoice with you dear Sr Sadhana for this outstanding achievement in the department of computer science and engineering.
