The series, which premiered on Republic Day, January 26th, aims to expose the typical crimes in Bengaluru, providing a revealing look at the city's crime scene.
In 2023, Bengaluru saw a concerning increase of nearly 23.9% in crimes against women, totalling 3,260 cases compared to the preceding year. Crimes under the Indian Penal Code against women, such as kidnapping, abduction, human trafficking, rape, and assault, have increased, making them urgent issues. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Bengaluru ranks third among 19 metropolitan cities for crimes against women in 2022, following only Delhi and Mumbai. This collaboration demonstrates Radio City's dedication to raising community awareness and tackling critical issues through strong narratives.
