Canada: MAC to organize Konkani Lenten Mission with renowned preachers

Toronto: Feb 17: The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) under the dynamic leadership of its incumbent president Vijay Dante, vice-president Janet D’Souza and the spiritual coordinator Nina Crasta, is all set to have a great beginning in this New Year with graceful and spirit-filled spiritual mission during the Lenten season. The renowned preachers would be Fr Henry Alva OFM Cap, Fr Rajesh D’Souza OCD and Fr Roshan D’Souza CSC, the spiritual director of MAC.

Starting on February 25, the spiritual thirst-quenching retreat talks will be preached on three consecutive Sundays i.e: February 25, March 3 & 10 during the Holy season of Lent. All talks will be based on the Holy Scriptures. The graceful retreat will focus on in-depth enlightenment toward the Word of God. A special spiritual talk will be addressed to the Youth on March 10 by Fr Roshan. This spiritual programme will be held at St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church, Mississauga. The programme will start at 2.00 pm with Stations of the Cross followed by Holy Mass and conclude with the Retreat preaching in Konkani.

Undoubtedly, everyone who is going to attend this spiritual mission will have a great soul-elevating experience. The Konkani community in Greater Toronto, Mississauga, and the surrounding areas are invited to attend in large numbers to attend such an enriching and spirit-filled mission.
