Sullia: Wild elephants destroy farms in Kundalpadi

Sullia, Feb 17: Wild elephants entered several farms of Kundalpadi in Koyanad of Sampaje village in the taluk and destroyed huge numbers of coconut trees, arecanut trees and plantain.

Eight coconut trees and arecanut trees of the farm belonging to Jayaprakash, four coconut trees, arecanut trees and plantain in the farm of Padmanabha and coconut trees in the farm of Harish were destroyed by the pachyderm.
