Mangaluru, Feb 12: A M A Khalil, retired lecturer at Karnataka Government Polytechnic (KPT), Mangaluru, has taken over as president of Bondel Laughter Club which was started in 2002.

The club was so far being conducted by John Monteiro who had also been conducting laughter sessions at the Gateway of India in downtown Mumbai for many years before retiring to Mangaluru in 2000.

Along with him Bonaventure D'Souza who has also retired from his job in Gulf in 2020 is the new vice-president of Bondel Laughter Club.

The laughter programme  starts at 6 am and ends at 6.20 am from Monday to Saturday at Bondel Ground.
