Bhandary Seva Samiti Holds 58th Annual General Meeting

The annual general body meeting of metro-based Bhandary Seva Samiti was held at Hotel Guruprasad hall, Chembur, on Sunday September 18.
 
Samiti president Balakrishna P Bhandary presided over the meeting.
 


Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said that the Samiti that was formed 58 years ago has been successful in reaching economical and educational benefits to the community. He announced that there are plans to set up sub-committees in suburbs in order to reach out to the community living on both western and central suburbs.
 
Discussions were held to construct a Bhandary Bhavan in the metro in order to better serve the community.
 
Purushottam Bhandary, Santosh Bhandary, Jayasheela Bhandary, and Rakesh Bhandary were elected new office-bearers.
 
Samiti vice-presidents lawyer Shekar Bhandary, Vijayanand Bhandary and Padmanabha Bhandary, honorary chief secretary lawyer R M Bhandary Thane, treasurer Ramesh Bhandary, joint secretary Narayan Bhandary, joint treasurer Prabhakar Bhandary, women’s wing president Lalita Bhandary, secretary Vantia Bhandary, community veteran leaders Sanjeev Chira Bazaar, and veteran entrepreneur Vittal Bhandary Mangalore were present on the dais.
 
Samiti honorary chief secretary lawyer R M Bhandary welcomed the gathering.  Honorary chief secretary lawyer RM Bhandary compered the programme.  Joint secretaries Narayan Bhandary and Vijay Bhandary presented the annual report.
